The Book of Acts contains the story of the first Christians, written by Luke, an early Jesus follower. It begins with Jesus being taken into heaven and His followers proclaiming His life, teachings and forgiveness, through His sacrifice. This passage describes how the earliest believers lived, served and cared for each other in community. Read Acts 2:42-47 and write down answers to these questions:

  • What do you learn from this passage about how people at the beginning of the movement lived and acted?

  • What are one or two practical things you can incorporate from this into your life?
